What is Botox?
Botox is one of the best-known treatments used to temporarily relax muscles, fading dynamic wrinkles and expression lines such as those found on the frown/forehead, crow feet etc. The aim is to eliminate the appearance of these lines which occur due to repetitive muscle movements.
HOW DOES IT WORK
Botox simply prevents the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine which causes the contraction of the muscles. One can still maintain natural movement/facial expressions. This product is prescription only and should be performed by an experienced medical practitioner.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Botox is very popular with both men and women and typically lasts 3 to 6 months

Results can take between 5-14 days before the full effect is seen.

What is it?
Lip fillers & Dermal fillers are injections used to fill out wrinkles and creases in the skin.
They can also be used to increase the volume and definition of the lips and cheeks.
WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF?
Fillers are made of Hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a natural occurring component of your skin. 40% of your Dermis (the deep layer) is made from HA and the remainder is made from collagen.
WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?
A full consultation by myself to discuss desired outcome, I use a local anaesthetic cream and inject the filler in a series of small injections and massage the area.
The treatment time can vary from 30 minutes to an hour. It may be uncomfortable, but should not be very painful.

aftercare
The area may be swollen, tender and red for 24 hours. During that time you're advised to avoid coffee, alcohol, hot drinks and the sun - Full aftercare advice will be given.
